Featured as gang leaders in the film are Paul Greco as the leader of the Orphans, Jery Hewitt as the leader of the Baseball Furies, Kate Klugman as the leader of the Lizzies, and Konrad Sheehan as the leader of the Punks. Stunt coordinator and future director Craig R. Baxley appears as a member of the Punks, as does stuntman A.J. Bakunas, who was killed on the set of another movie before the film's release. Steve James and Bill Anagnos portray Baseball Furies, while Dennis Gregory portrays a Gramercy Riff.[N 1] Mercedes Ruehl plays the policewoman who arrests Ajax, with Irwin Keyes and Sonny Landham also appearing as police officers. Ginny Ortiz portrays the candy store employee whom the Rogues steal from and John Snyder portrays a gas station worker. In a pre-credits scene deleted from the theatrical version but reinstated in television broadcasts, Pamela Poitier (a daughter of Sidney Poitier) portrays Lincoln, Cleon's girlfriend.[4]
The Warriors Full Movie English Version
The Warriors website previously featured Warriors screensavers, videos on topics such as the process of writing a manga book, and quizzes.[90][91][92] In addition, there were browser-based games including the New Prophecy Adventure and the Warriors Adventure Game.[93] An additional game for the website was planned for release in 2010, but was never released despite a report of having completed first-round testing.[94] It has been stated that there is no plan for an official video game, but if one were to be made, it would likely be based on a movie adaptation of the Warriors series.[94] Many fans have resorted to making their own games and websites, many of these sites being play-by-post role-playing game forums.[76] The website was later re-designed and is now accessible via both browser and an official mobile application. Much of the old content was not carried over to the new version of the website, though a new character creation game[95] and an updated version of the family tree have been added.[96]
The newest Predator film Prey is being released in English and with a Comanche dub - but which language should it be watched in? This iteration in the long-running sci-fi franchise places the titular hunter alien among a Comanche tribe, and the tribe's warriors are the only ones who can stop it. Since Prey was filmed in English but dubbed in Comanche, there has been a lot of debate over which is the definitive version - and there is a correct answer.
On November 13, 2007, FUNimation released Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan and Broly - Second Coming on Blu-ray as a test for their upcoming "Double Feature" line. Both movies were then fully released with Bio-Broly as a "Triple Feature" on March 31, 2009 on DVD and Blu-ray.[5] Both sets featured a brand-new widescreen transfer from Video Post & Transfer and a new audio mix for the English dub featuring the original Japanese score done by Shunsuke Kikuchi in addition to the old mix featuring the Johnson/I.O.N. score.
The port of the original and second Final Fantasies to the iOS is available in Apple's App Store for $8.99/5.50. Both games have graphics similar to the Anniversary Edition and their special dungeons. With a single purchase, both the English and Japanese language versions of the games are made available (through the phone's system language). Gameplay from the original Final Fantasy remains the same as in the PlayStation Portable port, while the Final Fantasy II iOS version adds new gameplay elements, mainly the implementation of touch controls. The Window Color option has been removed, and the Art Gallery is no longer featured. The music quality of both games is slightly worse in comparison to the Official Soundtrack version (which is fully preserved on the PSP Anniversary editions).
The Apple iOS version includes a "quick save" that allows the player to save the party's current location either on the overworld map or in dungeon mode when the application gracefully exits. This means that when gameplay is interrupted by returning to the home screen, receiving a phone call, or putting the device in sleep mode and subsequently syncing the device (which resets the device's current status), the game will resume in the same location when "Resume" is selected at the opening screen. If the player opens a save file or new game, the data is deleted.
As with apps for the platform, a demo of the Windows Phone version is available. The main difference from the full version is that upon reaching the drawbridge and watching the introduction to the game proper, gameplay is halted and a message appears, stating "This concludes the Demo. Buy the Full Game to play on!". Touching the screen here returns the player to the title screen. Another feature of the demo version is an option in the title screen menu that offers a direct link to the app listing in the WP Marketplace, where they can purchase the full version. Should the player do so, they can continue from where the demo ends.
The battles behind Francis Ford Coppola's surreal war movie are well-documented: the nightmarish, multiyear shoot; star Martin Sheen's heart attack and recovery; a cackling press corps that sharpened its knives for a turkey of epic proportions. Coppola would have the last laugh. So much of the vocabulary of the modern-day war picture comes from this movie, an operatic Vietnam-set tragedy shaped out of whirring helicopter blades, Wagnerian explosions, purple haze and Joseph Conrad's colonialist fantasia Heart of Darkness. Fans of the Godfather director, so pivotal to the 1970s, know this to be his last fully realized work; connoisseurs of the war movie see it (correctly) as his second all-out masterpiece.
Stop snickering: There's a real reason why this sci-fi actioner is so high on our list. Never before (and probably never again) had the monied apparatus of Hollywood been so co-opted to make a subversive comment about its own fascist impulses. Director Paul Verhoeven cackled all the way to the box office as giant bugs were exterminated by gorgeous, empty-headed bimbos; when Neil Patrick Harris showed up near the end of the movie in a full-length Nazi trench coat, the in-joke was practically outed. Source novelist Robert Heinlein meant his militaristic tale sincerely; meanwhile, the blithe destruction of humankind on display here could only be intended as a sharp critique, both of soldiering and of popular tastes. Return to it with fresh eyes.
Pervy Dutch director Paul Verhoeven is better known for Basic Instinct and Showgirls, but war movies are his true métier. In this deliciously plotted WWII survival tale (a comeback of sorts for the Hollywood exile), a hotcha Jewish singer becomes a spy, a freedom fighter and a bed partner of Nazis. Talented Carice van Houten commits fully.
The dub's script originated from a memetic Recursive Translation/Translation Train Wreck found in China by blogger Jeremy Winterson. The name is taken from the translation of the opening crawl, the original being, obviously, "Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith"; where the Chinese subtitles were then machine translated back into English. Most sentences are absolutely mangled in the translation, although some sentences still have their original meanings intact. It was later turned into a Gag Dub by the Youtube channel TheThirdGathers with clips posted beginning in 2010. In August 2021, the same channel began work on dubbing the only other known authentic full movie script, presumably found in China, Napoleon's Explosive (the mistranslation of Napoleon Dynamite), featuring some of the vocal actors who dubbed Backstroke of the West.
Thankfully, those fears were unwarranted upon the movie's first screening, though director Destin Daniel Cretton had faith in using subtitles from the start. "Destin very much believed in the fact that audiences would go with it, and sure enough they did," Feige continued. "It wasn't even a question. It wasn't even a concern. On the contrary, I think it added to the authenticity in the way the movie started." 2ff7e9595c
